Fun! Creativity! Art!
We are delighted to once again provide an opportunity for all kids and youth to make art on the lawn of Coventry Arts and Antiques, 1140 Main Street in the Village (next to the Booth and Dimock Memorial Library).
Starting at 11:00 am we will be creating a very large and colorful art installation. As well, kids can enjoy the experience of painting Carnival-style masks and other large cardboard sculptures.

Join us to create some beautiful artwork!
All ages are welcome to participate.
Chalk will be provided to participants although you may supplement this with your own chalk. No oil pastels or wax crayons are permitted.
Tips for Artists:
You may want to bring something to sit or kneel upon as well as wear sunscreen and a hat.
Use chalk sparingly. Build up your layers, starting with a very light layer.
We recommend outlining all your major elements first.
Consider using one object as the focal point of your artwork—a face, an animal, etc. Small details are more difficult to achieve on a rough surface so think BIG AND DRAMATIC! We look forward to seeing your creation. We are looking forward to a day of creativity and fun for all!
